Hearing God

God is a communicator. He wants to speak to us. But many people struggle to hear His voice. This study will examine the common ways God speaks to us: through His Word, through the Holy Spirit, through trusted voices, through our conscience and inner witness, and through events in our life. Through this study you will cultivate a deeper capacity to hear from God.

Hearing God FAQ

Hearing God is a 6-week churchwide Spiritual Growth Campaign that will help us better recognize God’s voice. It will consist of a sermon series that follows the topics covered in the Hearing God guidebook that you can follow along with each week.
Yes! Our kids will be covering the same topics and receiving resources geared specifically towards their age group. You’re never too young to learn how to recognize God’s voice, and we encourage you to discuss what you’re learning with the whole family!

The guidebook can be completed on your own during your daily devotionals. However, each week, there are questions that we encourage you to discuss with others as well, whether in your groups, with your family, friends, roommates, etc.

You certainly don’t have to. The guide is primarily meant to be used during your devotional time and discussions with friends and family. However, you’re more than welcome to bring it as you may want to take notes in your book throughout the sermon series!
