Our Pastors
Pastor JD is a gifted teacher and communicator. He has a passion for making God’s word relatable and practical, and has a heart for reaching people and helping them know God, no matter where they are on their journey.
The excitement and expectation of Zeal Church is as authentic as any room that I’ve ever entered. I can’t wait for my next trip to Nashville, but until then, I’ll be connecting, worshipping, and hearing the Word, by worshipping online!
We have five children who have all made decisions for Christ and been baptized at Zeal! My husband and I are thankful for the blessings and teachings that Zeal has brought into our lives. Our family looks forward to Zeal every week!
I look forward to the energy brought during worship and Pastor JD’s sense of humor and passion each week. Zeal has helped me to live more Christ-like through Serve Saturdays and Zeal Groups. I’m grateful to call Zeal home!
Zeal has changed my wife and I’s life! It wasn’t until we started attending Zeal that we found REAL community. I couldn’t imagine doing life without the encouragement, support, and love that we receive every week at Zeal.
Zeal is far more than four walls; this is a community of people with different backgrounds who want to grow in their relationship with Christ. My family is so grateful to call Zeal home because each week, we leave better than when we came.
Having the blessing of raising my son in this community has been everything to me. Every Sunday, he sprints to the doors of Zeal Kids but gets intercepted for hugs every time! On Easter Sunday, he gave his life to Christ! I’m thankful I get to raise my boy in a community that looks like Jesus.
Through Zeal Church and dedication to God’s word, my wife and I have experienced a spiritual revival and real life change. From the toughest of struggles to the highest points in our lives, our Zeal community has always been incredibly supportive, encouraging, and loving of both my wife and me and has always pushed us to God’s true purpose for our lives.
Zeal is helping our family stay in God’s word, serve people and live a Christ-centered life. Zeal is an answer to my prayer that my family will continually grow strong in their faith no matter where life takes them.
Zeal has helped me get connected with God a well as his people. I am so thankful for the sermons and community! Being a part of Zeal has definitely brought me closer to Jesus.
Although I have only been coming to Zeal for a few months, the spiritual growth that has taken place in my life has been amazing! I feel like my whole mindset has changed through the truths that I am hearing through the Bible.
Zeal changed my life. The level of welcome I received coming into a huge city where I knew one person was unbelievable. Pastor JD’s messages softened my heart and allowed the Holy Spirit to flow in my life. I rededicated my life to God through baptism earlier this year, and I’m never looking back!
Zeal has helped me experience what true God-centered community looks like. There’s no mold you need to fit. Just genuine people who love to love others well.”
During the lockdown, I was able to watch church online and become reaffirmed in my faith, find my way back to what God has always called me to do, and become surrounded by a community that I needed.
